About UsA competitive and well‑known architecture firm in New York and beyond, we are looking to add a Senior Civil Engineer to our firm. Multiple offices throughout New York that focus on architecture, engineering, environmental, and more. We are known around the east coast for the services we provide, our portfolio of work, and our staff of employees that consistently deliver. This is a remote position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of innovative and challenging projects from the comfort of your own home. Applicants must have a NYS PE. Remote work is available if not located near Buffalo, Albany, or Manhattan. Hybrid working schedule is required for those located near NYC, Glen Falls, Syracuse, or Buffalo.
Compensation & Benefits- Competitive compensation: $100,000 – $150,000 per year

- Lead and manage a variety of civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Prepare, review, and approve technical documents, including design plans, specifications, and feasibility studies.
- Utilize advanced software applications such as Civil3D, Micro Station, and AutoCAD to create detailed engineering designs and plans.
- Collaborate with various teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Oversee project cost estimates and schedules, and monitor project progress to ensure timely and cost‑effective completion.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Ensure all designs and projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- New York State Professional Engineer (NYS PE) or EIT (preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on design, project management, and construction oversight.
- Expertise in using engineering software such as Civil3D, Micro Station, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and methods.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Must be detail‑oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on data.
- Ability to work remotely and manage your time effectively.
