We’re seeking a part-time, hybrid Rapid Prototyping CAD Maker to transform rough design ideas into quick‑turnaround 3D‑printed prototypes. This role is a blend of on‑site collaboration and remote work, focused on getting from concept to prototype in hours, not days.

• Hybrid Work Environment: Some on‑site time is needed for hands‑on understanding, with the rest done remotely to produce prototypes quickly.

  Skills Required:
  
  This isn’t about downloading files from Thingiverse—we need someone who can create models from scratch based on verbal descriptions and from rough sketches and physical models we've mocked up. If we just point and say, “We need something like this,” you should be able to quickly turn that into a CAD model, visualize it on the computer, and get it 3D‑printed fast.
  
  We’re talking hours, not weeks.
• Rapid Turnarounds: We expect prototypes in hours, not weeks. The goal is to quickly iterate, fail fast, and refine.
• CAD and 3D Printing Expertise: We need a maker who’s quick and proficient in CAD software like Plasticity, Rhino, Fusion 360, Blender, Solidworks, Shapr3D, or similar tools. The exact software is flexible—we just need someone who can get the job done fast.
• Rubberized Printing a Plus: Experience with TPU, PEBA, and similar flexible filaments is a bonus.
