You will need to live within commuting distance to our Mahwah, New Jersey office. You will need to be in the office 2 days a week and can work from home on other days.
** What You Will Do
*** Design, develop, and verify components and subsystems for medical devices with minimal supervision.
* Translate user needs into design specifications and deliver system-level solutions.
* Lead prototyping and testing efforts to validate design performance.
* Identify and resolve complex design issues using data-driven analysis to improve processes and outcomes.
* Apply clinical knowledge to author design inputs and support Voice of Customer sessions.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and mentor others in design control practices.
* Create and maintain engineering documentation, including Design History Files.
** What You Will Need
**** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or related field).
* Minimum four years of relevant product engineering or product design experience.
* Experience designing mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies.
* Proficiency in engineering drawing creation and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Experience with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
