Are you a skilled Mechanical CAD Technician with a passion for 3D modelling and drawing production? Do you have experience working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment and a keen eye for detail? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you!
Our client, a prominent company working on the United Utilities AMP8 Framework, is seeking a Mechanical CAD Technician to join their team on a variety of exciting projects in the North West. Based in their Manchester office with hybrid working available, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical design work for major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· 3D modelling and 2D drawing production to a level suitable for construction, including layouts and general arrangements.

· Quality control of models and drawings, ensuring they meet standards and updating drawing registers such as MIDP.

· Ensure designs comply with CDM regulations.

· Coordinate drawing work undertaken by offshore resources and support the development of junior team members.

· Collaborate across technical disciplines to ensure seamless design integration.
Requirements/Desirable:

· Experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.

· Proficient in 2D drafting and 3D modelling, with hands-on experience in Autodesk, Revit and other 3D applications.

· Experience with Bentley Projectwise and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

· Solid understanding of CAD standards, QA processes, and engineering software.

· Detail-oriented, with the ability to present complex designs clearly and effectively.
