We are seeking a driven Civil Engineer who currently holds an active Professional Engineer (PE) license for a
* full-time, on-site position in Maryville, Tennessee*.
* This role is not remote or hybrid.
* This position offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility in the design and delivery of civil engineering projects while working alongside a team of experienced professionals in a collaborative, in-office environment. The Civil Engineer will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Design.

* Applicants must currently live within commuting distance of Maryville, TN or be willing to relocate prior to the start date at their own expense.
* * Key Responsibilities
* · Lead and assist in the design of civil engineering projects, including:

o Land development and site design

o Transportation and roadway improvements

o Stormwater management and utility infrastructure

· Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports.

· Perform advanced engineering calculations and cost estimates.

· Utilize design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and other modeling tools.

· Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.

· Participate in project planning, scheduling, and quality control.

· Prepare to mentor other staff and contribute to team development as experience grows.

* Qualifications
* ·

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.

· Certification: PE required.

Experience:

8-12 years of civil engineering design experience in a consulting or professional services environment.

· Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with hydrology/hydraulic modeling software and GIS tools is a plus.

·

Soft Skills:

Strong communication, leadership potential, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

· Preferred Experience

o

Experience with municipal, transportation, or land development projects.

o Knowledge of local, state, and federal permitting processes.

* Compensation & Benefits
* Salary: $105,000-$130,000 range; paid weekly.

· Bonus program for each design employee:

o 10% of the mark-up of employee’s actual billed hours for the previous month (payable on the second payroll cycle of the following month)

· End of Year Holiday Bonus. ($250 years 1-2. $500 years 3-4. $1000 years 5-6. $1500 years 7+)

· 401(k) with a company match up to 4% of monetary compensation. (Value of benefit estimated at $X in year 1.)
