Remote Civil CAD Drafter

We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Civil CAD Drafter to support New Jersey–based commercial, industrial, and residential land development projects. This role involves preparing detailed design drawings from engineering notes, sketches, and reference materials while adhering to established CAD standards and procedures. The Civil CAD Drafter will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and other drafters to ensure coordinated, accurate, and timely project deliverables.

• Perform design, drafting and project related tasks.
• Prepare detailed design drawings from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawings.
• Conform to the company´s standard CAD procedures for layering, etc., and standard drawing procedures.
• Work with project teams including Engineers, Designers and other Drafters to ensure coordination of design effort to ensure project completion.
• Address assignments of increased difficulty as proficiency is increased.
• Perform other tasks related to the role.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work as a team player and interact well with others.
• 2–3 years of related experience, specifically in New Jersey–based projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, preferably in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience in site/civil, land development, and/or municipal engineering drafting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and assume increased responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Sound judgment and the capacity to comprehend and execute instructions promptly with minimal supervision.
• Reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer), two monitors, and stable high-speed internet.
• Compensation in USD.
• Full-time position with 40 hours weekly.
