Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team and step into a leadership role. With the recent promotion of the previous director, this position offers an opportunity to become the second-in-command, leading a team of junior engineers and designers through the full project lifecycle. This role requires extensive project management experience, overseeing projects from inception to completion, including conducting quality assurance/quality control on designs and managing project budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

* Lead a team of junior engineers and designers through the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects.

* Oversee and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring all aspects meet quality standards.

* Conduct quality assurance/quality control on design work and manage project budgets and schedules.

* Review and evaluate work performed by designers and project engineers.

* Effectively manage project budgets and schedules to ensure successful project completion.

Essential Skills

* Extensive experience in civil engineering and project management.

* Proficiency in Civil 3D and civil design.

* Experience in land development and site development.

* Ability to apply engineering principles and standards in civil design for site layout, grading, erosion control, and roadway.

* Strong skills in writing civil reports.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Professional Engineer (PE) certification is highly desirable.

Work Environment

The position offers a dynamic work environment within a team of four on the civil engineering side, with potential for hybrid work arrangements after a six-month to one-year probationary period. Initially, the role requires working in the office, with the possibility of working remotely two to three days a week post-probation. The team currently handles a backlog of projects worth $1.5 million, with opportunities for growth and additional work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
