Sr. Sales and Application Engineer

FMC HR is looking for a Sr. Sales and Application Engineer to expand the activities of our German client in Türkiye. Harmonic Drive® SE has a wide portfolio starting from backlash-free gearboxes, geared actuators for industrial applications, automation and defence up to special gears for aircraft and satellites.

Reporting to the Head of Business Development in Germany, the position will be based in Türkiye and work from home office. Since it will be a remote work, applications from outside Istanbul will also be accepted.

• Pro-actively analyse the Türkiye market and acquire new customers and projects
• Present the Harmonic Drive® SE product portfolio and answer technical questions
• Analyse customer needs and select appropriate products
• Provide technical support to customer projects
• Create quotes, negotiate contracts and support the customer during order process
• Develop a sales and marketing strategy for the Turkish market
• Manage and continue developing existing customers and projects
• Work closely with the technical and commercial team in Germany

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
• Relevant (min. 3-5 years) professional experience in technical consulting or sales, preferably in Drive Technology
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from design engineers as well as from commercial managers
• Ability to successfully negotiate commercial and project contracts
• Fluent English language skills (German language skills would be nice)
• Very good skills in MS Office and CRM systems
• Willingness to travel within Türkiye
• Willingness to participate in technical trainings and sales meetings in Germany
