Overview
Contract Civil Design Engineer
Infrastructure & Drainage
Rate: £45–£50 per hour – Outside IR35
Contract:
Initial 6 months (strong likelihood of extension)
Location:
Remote working available
- Deliver civil infrastructure and drainage design for residential & mixed-use developments
- Design foul and surface water systems using Micro Drainage / Info Drainage
- Produce highways, levels, earthworks and estate road designs using Civil 3D
- Prepare drawings, calculations and reports for S104, S38 and S278 approvals
- Liaise with local authorities, statutory undertakers and internal project teams
- Manage workload independently across live schemes
- Strong UK consultancy background in civil engineering design
- Proven experience delivering residential infrastructure & drainage projects
- Confident user in either Microdrainage/Causaeway Flow/Site 3D
- Solid understanding of UK design standards and adoption processes
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a contract role
- £40–£50 per hour
- Outside IR35
- Flexible hybrid working
- Long-term contract potential with a high-quality consultancy
