Electrical Engineer

Overview

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer/Designer with over 5 years of expertise in designing plumbing systems for various building types. You will be responsible for creating designs using Revit and AutoCAD, covering systems such as water, storm, gas, medical gas, fire protection, and sanitary systems from inception to completion. Additionally, you will evaluate and analyze system options, provide bid and construction phase services, review bids, answer RFIs, review shop drawings, participate in project walk-throughs, and provide field observation reports.

Electrical Engineer

• Design plumbing systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Create comprehensive designs for water, storm, gas, medical gas, fire protection, and sanitary systems.
• Evaluate and analyze system options.
• Provide bid and construction phase services.
• Review bids and shop drawings.
• Answer RFIs and participate in project walk-throughs.
• Provide field observation reports.

• 5-10 years of experience in MEP electrical design.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical focus.

• Experience with a range of project types including K-12, government, higher education, offices, healthcare, labs, and multifamily developments.

This role offers a hybrid work environment, with an in-office presence required except for remote work on Wednesdays, which begins after six weeks. The workplace promotes a casual atmosphere and offers vacation pay from Christmas to New Year s. Employees earn 6 hours of PTO every pay period, with any PTO over 300 hours paid out quarterly at two-thirds value.

This is a Permanent position based out of Columbia, MD.

The pay range for this position is $75,000.00 - $/yr.
