ANAVIA specializes in the design, development & manufacturing of vertical takeoff & landing (VTOL) systems of up to 500 kilograms. The company offers industry leading unmanned helicopter systems for various mission profiles, such as Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection or Mapping & Cargo.
As a Remote Pilot, your main goal will be the supervision and execution of UAS operations as Pilot in Command.
Key Responsibilities:
Flight Operations
- Execute UAS operations as Pilot in Command, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and operational protocols during international customer demonstrations, factory acceptance testing, and training flight activities.
- Conduct thorough flight planning, site surveys, and risk assessments in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Support the flight authorization process and other administrative tasks necessary for mission execution.
Testing & Evaluation
- Develop, document, and execute flight test plans and procedures for system validation and customer demonstrations.
- Analyze flight performance data to support system optimization and operational improvements.
- Support the definition, development, and ongoing updates of maintenance documentation and flight manuals in alignment with test findings and system evolution.
Instruction & Training
- Act as an instructor for Remote Pilot and Payload Operator roles.
- Create and deliver training materials and lesson plans for internal personnel and/or external clients.
Documentation & Compliance
- Interpret and apply safety regulations, operational procedures, and maintenance guidelines.
- Ensure all documentation and activities conform to relevant aviation standards and internal company policies.
Other Tasks
- Perform root cause analysis on operational and technical issues and implement corrective and preventive actions as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of aviation experience in related areas such as ATC, flight planning, meteorology, air law, navigation, human factors, and emergency procedures.
- Experience with VTOL rotary unmanned platform with MTOW over 50 kg is desirable.
- A1/A3 and A2 EASA license required.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Working knowledge of operational risk management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and documentation tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
