Boisbriand Share As  a Test Technician, you will actively participate in the execution of verification tests, the assembly of various test benches, as well as the management and maintenance of test equipment and spaces. You will also work in collaboration with test engineers to develop, maintain test procedures, and ensure follow-up on long-term tests. You will also be responsible for keeping equipment documentation up to date.

Finally, you will be involved in the management and configuration of test spaces to support the various engineering teams in testing, characterization, and calibration efforts.
** MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Execute verification tests for mechanical, electrical, and software systems;
* Investigate problems encountered during test execution to ensure product quality.
* Participate in the improvement of test and calibration procedures;
* Participate in the monitoring and improvement of automated and long-term tests;
* Assemble, verify, and document the test benches used for verification and production;
* Offer technical support for the development of various test benches for the engineering and production teams;
* Support the engineering teams in their continuous improvement efforts;
* Ensure good management of tools, equipment, and test space;
* Develop tooling to improve existing methods and test benches.
** POSITION REQUIREMENTS
*** DEC in electrical engineering, industrial electronics, automated systems electromechanics, or other related field;
* Minimum of two years of relevant experience;
* Relevant experience in Python programming;
* Relevant experience in data processing and management;
* Relevant experience in mechanical and electrical test bench assembly;
* Strong problem-solving aptitude;
* Rigor, versatility, and resourcefulness;
* Ability to prioritize work;
* Presence at the Boisbriand office five days a week.
** ASSETS
* ** Experience in reading mechanical drawings;
* Experience in wiring diagram drawing;
* Experience with Git;
* Experience with the Linux operating system;
* Experience working in an Agile environment and/or experience with Jira;
* Meticulous personality;
* Experience in the field of robotics;
* Knowledge of ISO 13485 standards;
* Proficiency in French and functional English.
