Your new role will be to travel to manufacturing site and using an AMIS system where you will provide a full audit to the areas of the sites that need care and attention. You will then work from home to create a full report for the client.
Role of an Engineering Maintenance Reliability Consultant
Deliver AMIS assessments, including on-site reviews, stakeholder interviews, data analysis, and maturity scoring.
Translate AMIS outputs into clear, prioritised maintenance improvement roadmaps aligned with client objectives.
Apply intellectual property to develop tailored maintenance strategies, governance models, and implementation plans.
Lead and support initiatives in preventive and predictive maintenance, RCM, TPM, and lean maintenance practices.
Support clients with FMECA studies and the development of robust, risk-based planned maintenance routines.
Deliver AMIS-aligned workshops, training programmes, and coaching sessions to embed best practice and build internal capability.
Define, implement, and track KPIs and performance dashboards in line with standards to demonstrate progress and value.
Support and deliver energy efficiency and energy-saving programmes where appropriate, integrating these into wider asset strategies.

Qualifications of an Engineering Maintenance Reliability Consultant
A degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or NVQ level 3 in Engineering
A minimum of five years’ experience in maintenance, reliability, or asset management, ideally within manufacturing or process environments.
Experience operating in a supervisory or management role, with the credibility to influence site leadership teams.
Strong working knowledge of maintenance improvement methodologies, including RCM, TPM, and Lean.
