Field Service Engineer

Overview

Our client is a leading manufacturer of electromechanical product used in various sectors. To help maintain their equipment they now require a Field Service Engineer.

• Ensure service assistance and operational requirements as directed for customer satisfaction and achievement of department goals.
• Perform scheduled maintenance visits and corrective repairs as directed on safety devices.
• Perform warranty repairs as directed on safety and devices.
• Perform installation and commissioning activities.
• Perform technical corrective actions.
• Complete required company documentation.
• Provide feedback on the quality situation and issues from field to Service Management.
• The role will be home based covering South, Reading, Maidenhead, Slough, Woking and the West M25 area.

• Relevant experience as a service engineer.
• HNC or equivalent in electronic/electrical engineering or related subject is preferred.
• Applicants should have proven experience over a wide range of equipment and systems.
• Ideally with experience of safety related devices and background.
• Able to deliver a high level of customer care and develop long standing customer relationships.
• Ability to organise and prioritise to meet a wide range of diverse and demanding activities.
• Must hold a driving licence.
