Lead Environmental & Sustainability Specialist - remote

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Environmental & Sustainability Specialist - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the development and improvement of the Environmental Management System (EMS) in line with ISO 14001 standards. Your contributions will help ensure that the corporate ESG strategy is effectively implemented and monitored.

You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to maintain compliance and enhance sustainability performance across the organization, making a significant impact in promoting environmental stewardship.

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISO 14001-aligned Environmental Management System.
• Assist in identifying and evaluating environmental aspects and impacts.
• Maintain EMS documentation, procedures, records, and change management processes.
• Support internal EMS audits, management reviews, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Track environmental objectives, targets, and performance indicators.
• Support ISO 14001 certification and surveillance audits, including coordination with third-party auditors.
• Collect, validate, and analyze environmental and sustainability data (e.g., GHG emissions, energy use, waste).
• Support the execution of corporate ESG strategy, goals, and key performance indicators.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in corporate environmental management, sustainability, ESG, or EHS roles.
• Hands‑on experience supporting or maintaining an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
• Knowledge of U.S. and international environmental regulations and corporate compliance frameworks.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools.
