The EPC planner is the single point of contact for the project schedule and is accountable for the schedule quality and project on-time delivery. The position reports to the Global Planning Leader for Subsea and is dotted line to the Project Director.
Responsibilities- Responsible for building overall project schedule and project on-time delivery. You will manage product level planners to ensure the overall project delivers successfully to our customers.
- Scheduling management & ensuring its quality and accuracy of project.
- Coordinating and collaborating with the product line planners to ensure overall quality and accuracy of the schedule & portion of the plan
- Plan tasks to be performed in the 3 – 6 weeks & Check for risks in schedules and mitigation actions
- Provide relevant reports to ensure the right decisions are made on driving on time and on budget project execution.
- Supporting customers with current situation, challenges & opportunities.
- Adhere to the approved processes and proactively & drive implementation of new initiatives leading to fully integrated planning.
- Have a Bachelor or Master Degree (Engineering/Math/Science degree preferred).
- Demonstrate experience in project planning in the subsea industry.
- Demonstrate expertise in use of the Primavera P6 planning tool. Additional knowledge of MRP is required.
- Be able to understand the status of a project and link the schedule to the reality of the execution. The EPC planner will quickly understand the risks and opportunities in the schedule, identify and drive appropriate actions.
- Have strong expertise in planning of a large project as well as use of the Primavera P6 planning tool.
