An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our client’s expanding team, covering Oxford and the surrounding Southeast area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex mechanical problems, working hands-on with advanced monitoring technologies, and making a measurable impact on asset reliability. The role involves visiting client sites across the UK, which may include lone working on manned sites, overnight stays, and regular home working.

Key Responsibilities of this role as a Reliability Engineer you will be:

* Conduct vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound, and other condition monitoring techniques.

* Diagnose equipment faults and recommend corrective actions to prevent unplanned downtime.

* Support the development and optimisation of predictive maintenance strategies.

* Produce clear, accurate technical reports and communicate findings to engineering and operations teams.

* Collaborate with maintenance, reliability, and production teams to drive continuous improvement.

* Maintain and calibrate condition monitoring equipment and software.

* Contribute to root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.

* Install and service fixed continuous monitoring systems.

* Provide lubrication services for all rotating components.

Requirements of a Reliability Engineer you will:

* Experience in condition monitoring, reliability engineering, or rotating machinery diagnostics.

* Recognised engineering qualification, minimum Level 3; HNC or above desirable.

* Strong understanding of vibration analysis (Category II certification desirable).

* Familiarity with thermography, lubrication analysis, or ultrasound monitoring.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Confident communicator, able to translate technical findings into actionable insights.

* Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
