Land Rights Surveyor - Salisbury

£40,000+ Car Allowance Bonus Hybrid / Remote Working Permanent

My client is a nationally recognised property and land advisory business with a strong pipeline of infrastructure and utility-related projects across the UK. They are now looking to appoint a Land Rights Surveyor into their Salisbury team, offering a long-term career path and a genuinely varied workload.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being out on site, working with stakeholders, and supporting major projects that have a visible impact on communities and the built environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will support the delivery of land rights activity, following established processes to secure access and agreements required for construction works. The position involves regular liaison between the end client and grantees, as well as communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key duties will include:

  • Supporting the negotiation and facilitation of land rights agreements

  • Liaising with landowners, occupiers, contractors, and engineers

  • Attending site meetings and maintaining clear project communication

  • Acting as a key contact point between client and grantee during construction

  • Ensuring documentation and reporting is managed accurately and efficiently

  • Providing technical advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders

  • Client-focused, professional, and proactive

  • Able to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Good IT literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience / Knowledge

Candidates should have at least 2 years' understanding in one or more of the following:

  • Property and law

  • Land management / agriculture

  • Environmental or rural land issues

  • Valuation / surveying principles

Support is available for further study towards RICS (including Assoc

RICS)
or CAAV if required.

Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence

  • Relevant education (A Levels, HND, or Degree preferred)

  • Comfortable attending site meetings and working across projects

Package
  • Salary circa £40,000+
