new role About the role

Ready to head into the world of work? A Traineeship could be your ideal start to the next phase of your career. You’ll learn about the job, on the job, whilst we support you through further studies, so you’ll gain qualifications as well as work experience and skills.

As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing bills of quantities and schedules of works for pricing.
  • Preparing and sending out of Sub-contract enquires.
  • Subcontract comparison and preparation of subcontract agreements.
  • Attending, contributing to, and taking minutes of meetings as required.
  • Preparing Valuations with Client’s, agreeing amounts for payment and ensuring invoices are prepared and issued.
  • Re-measuring work using site measurement and measurement from drawings.
  • Re-measurement of subcontract applications and processing subcontract payments.
  • Informing Sub-Contractors of Contract variations.
About you

As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor we understand this may be one of your first roles so we’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in the construction industry. Experience with in this sector would be great however if you can demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach with excellent written and verbal communications skills this could be the role for you.
