This role is primarily project-focused, giving you the space to deliver meaningful manufacturing and process improvement initiatives, while still maintaining a practical connection to quality and shopfloor activity.

The role

You will lead and support defined manufacturing and process improvement projects, including:

Delivering process capability improvements, yield enhancement and scrap reduction projects.
Supporting scale-up of new products and materials from R&D into production.
Leading elements of implementation and ramp-up into volume manufacture.
Preparing project documentation, progress updates and risk assessments.
Supporting updates to process documentation, work instructions and control plans.

There is a smaller hands-on quality element, providing shopfloor support through sample inspection, containment decisions and operator coaching. This keeps you close to production and helps inform continuous improvement opportunities.
