Our team in Canada is growing, we are currently recruiting for an Intermediate to Experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our Water Resources Team. About

The Role

In this role you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise and creative thinking to high‑profile projects and develop your professional career with a world‑renowned company. Working closely with our Senior Water Resources Engineer and wider Water Resources team, you will have the opportunity to support our technical team with the following:

  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analysis, including flood mapping, water balance analysis, and hydraulic modelling.
  • Support mine water management design and optimisation.
  • Design and implement water management systems, including water supply and conveyance structures, in compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integration of water management systems into overall design and operation.
  • Conduct environmental assessments related to water management, including baseline studies, impact assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing and proposed water management systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and documentation related to water resources engineering.
  • Present our innovative solutions and novel technologies at conferences and events.
  • Provide technical advice to junior team members.
About You

We are looking for a qualified engineer who:

  • Has 3 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Is registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or EIT in one or more Canadian or U.S. jurisdictions.
  • Has a degree in Water Resources, Civil, Environmental or Hydrotechnical Engineering.
  • Has experience with hydrological and hydraulic modelling software, such as HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS and Gold Sim.
  • Has strong verbal and written communication skills, including report and proposal writing.
  • Can participate successfully as a contributor to a project team, adhere to prescribed budgets and timelines and express complex and challenging information in a well‑organised, efficient and engaging manner.
  • Has the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
  • Is bilingual in French and English.
