We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer/Project Manager for a crucial on-site engagement lasting approximately 6 to 12 months. This role is essential for driving continuous improvement and managing capital projects that enhance the site's mechanical and electrical infrastructure, facility/utility systems, and adherence to environmental health & safety (EHS) standards. The successful candidate will ensure all building systems are safe and compliant, focusing on integrating best practices in mechanical/electrical engineering and safety controls.

- Project Leadership & Execution:
Direct the complete project lifecycle, starting with defining user requirements and moving through preliminary design, vendor selection, successful implementation, and post-launch performance evaluation. - Engineering Compliance:
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including engineering studies, drawings, calibration logs, preventative maintenance schedules, and requirement documents. Guarantee adherence to cGMP (good manufacturing practices), regulatory mandates, and all applicable codes. - Stakeholder
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Engineering Validation team to fulfill all project qualification and commissioning needs. Engage proactively with both internal departments and external partners to achieve organizational objectives and high-quality results. - Resource Management:
Apply rigorous project management principles to oversee all project aspects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, financial budgeting, and reporting on progress. - Operational Guidance:
Provide technical direction and oversight to various site personnel, including power engineers, electricians, millwrights, and external contractors. - Safety Promotion:
Actively support and participate in site-wide initiatives focused on occupational health, safety, and employee wellness.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Steinbach, with occasional flexibility for remote work. Some travel, both within and outside Manitoba, is required.
Qualifications- Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related discipline) or a Certified Engineering Technologist designation is required or PM experience with a PMP Certificagtion - Experience:
5-7 years of dedicated experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector. - Skills:
Possess exceptional technical writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels. - Mindset:
Must be highly self-motivated and proactive, demonstrating the capacity to successfully manage several simultaneous projects in a dynamic, high-paced environment.
