Electrical Estimator (Hybrid)

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per year (DOE)

Our client is a well-established, NICEIC-approved electrical contractor delivering high-quality electrical contracting services to commercial and domestic customers alike based in the NW but operating on a national basis.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in a hybrid role, offering flexibility between office, site, and home working.

As Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a diverse range of projects including commercial, domestic, and light industrial works.

This is a key position within the business, working closely with directors and project managers to secure profitable new work while maintaining our reputation for quality and professionalism.

• Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates from drawings, specifications, and site surveys
• Reviewing tender documents and assessing technical requirements
• Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Producing professional client-facing quotations
• Conducting site visits where required
• Supporting handover to project delivery teams
• Maintaining tender tracking and cost records

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator
• Strong knowledge of commercial and domestic installations
• Good understanding of current electrical regulations
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
• Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office

• £55,000 - £60,000 per year (dependent on experience)
