We are seeking a seasoned Testing and Commissioning Manager with a minimum of 15 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in the rail and transit sector
. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working in the Middle East
, with a proven track record of managing complex testing and commissioning activities across multidisciplinary systems.
- Lead and manage the end-to-end testing and commissioning process for rail systems including signaling, communications, rolling stock, power supply, and track systems.
- Develop and implement commissioning strategies, plans, and schedules in alignment with project timelines and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and readiness of systems.
- Oversee system integration testing, static and dynamic testing, trial running, and handover procedures.
- Ensure compliance with international standards, local regulations, and safety requirements.
- Manage third-party testing agencies and interface with client representatives and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare and review technical documentation including test procedures, reports, and certifications.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful commissioning outcomes.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and performance.
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (Master s preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in testing and commissioning, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Extensive experience in railway projects, including metro, light rail, or high-speed rail.
- Prior experience in Middle East projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of railway systems and subsystems, including signaling (CBTC, ETCS), SCADA, and rolling stock.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with international standards such as EN, IEC, and ISO.
- PMP or similar project management certification.
- Experience with digital tools and platforms for commissioning management.
- Multilingual capabilities, especially Arabic, are a plus.
