Senior Technical Infrastructure Consultant

Synchro have partnered with a client of ours who are hiring for a hands‑on Senior Technical Infrastructure Consultant to join their growing organisation.

You’ll work directly with customers designing, delivering and supporting hybrid infrastructure environments, with a strong focus on on‑prem (VMware essential) and Microsoft Azure IaaS.

This is a varied consulting role for someone who enjoys autonomy, customer engagement, and learning new technologies in real‑world environments.

• Design, implement and support hybrid infrastructure solutions
• Deliver Azure IaaS deployments and hybrid integrations
• Support VMware plus at least one alternative platform (Hyper‑V, Open Shift, etc.)
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers
• Contribute to solution development and best practices

• Experience in hybrid infrastructure / infrastructure consultancy
• Solid on‑prem infrastructure background
• Comfortable working directly with customers
• Self‑managed, organised, and delivery‑focused

The client is based in Alcester, Warwickshire and this role offers hybrid remote working, with a blend of time spent in the office and working remotely, as well as time spent travelling to customer sites.
