3 years to less than 5 years Work site environment - In/on water Work setting
- Remote location Tasks
- Conduct maintenance and emergency repairs to engines, machinery and all auxiliary equipment
- Inspect maintenance and emergency repairs done on engines, machinery and all auxiliary equipment
- Operate main engines, machinery and auxiliary equipment on ships
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of engine room crew
- Stand engine room watch, monitoring and noting performance of engines, machinery and all auxiliary equipment
- Maintain records and prepare reports on engine performance and failures Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- 4th Class Marine Engineer Certificate Type of experience
- Tank vessel
- Marine transportation company Specialization or experience
- Specialized environmental skills and knowledge Security and safety
- Basic security clearance
- Criminal record check
- Drug test Transportation/travel information
