About The Role

Be part of this “once in a generation” project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable, low‑carbon electricity.

About the Civil Works Alliance

The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies:
Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O’Rourke. We are more than just an alliance; we are bringing together a single delivery organisation with years of learning and experience from other major complex infrastructure programmes worldwide.

What you’ll be doing

The scope of the Plant and Logistic function is the integrated support of CWA portions. This includes planning, design, execution and seamless integration, including the management, of concrete batching plants, storage buildings, conveyors, laboratory and office buildings, workshops, stores and reinforcement steel cut, bend and prefabrication facilities. Once constructed and operational, these infrastructures will underpin the delivery of the civil works at SZC.

The position advertised is for a Package Manager who, reporting to the Team Concrete Project Manager, will initially be responsible for managing one or more contracts covering the design, engineering, supply, and delivery of works for the concrete batching plants and associated offices, laboratories, and welfare units. As the works progress and this contract reaches completion, the Package Manager will be assigned to manage a new package within the same or another CWA team, supporting the ongoing delivery phase of the project.

The role involves coordinating with one or more subcontractors, internal project resources, and the Principal Contractor/Client team to ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with SZC’s environmental, quality, and safety standards. This position is suited to an individual with proven experience managing multiple stakeholders on large-scale, complex civil works projects, who can confidently oversee civil engineering activities and has either experience in building fit‑out works and/or in mechanical and electrical engineering, IT&T systems.
