We are seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our high‑performing team, where you’ll play a key role in driving commercial success, supporting colleagues, and delivering outstanding service to our clients.
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for delivering work that's driven by excellence as well as doing the right thing. You'll share our reputation for working on some of the UK's most high-profile commissions. Your teams will work across a wide range of projects within the complex infrastructure sector, including rail, highways, utilities, defence, energy and aviation.
Your RoleLead the delivery of high‑quality projects, setting clear expectations and building trusted relationships with clients through proactive engagement and exceptional service.
- Support and develop emerging talent, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture where people can grow and thrive.
- Work closely with senior leaders to help shape and strengthen a high‑value, profitable service offering that reflects our commitment to technical excellence, innovation, and client outcomes.
- Apply strong commercial and contractual understanding—particularly of the NEC suite—to ensure projects are delivered with rigour, clarity, and commercial discipline.
- Bring a proactive, commercially minded, and purpose‑driven approach that consistently adds value for clients and enhances the reputation of our business.
- Proven track record of delivering high‑quality commercial services across highways, water, and wider civil engineering projects within the UK infrastructure sector.
- Strong client‑relationship skills
, with a customer‑focused approach and a clear understanding of evolving client priorities and expectations. - Confident handling of legal, contractual, and technical matters, supported by the ability to develop robust and consistent delivery plans.
