Working with the wider Geobrugg UK team and reporting to the Country Manager you will represent Geobrugg on projects and schemes in the north of England, this will include such tasks as
- Promoting Geobrugg solutions for geohazards throughout the UK market including those for slope stabilisation, rockfall, landslide and debris flow protection
- Visiting offices of consultants, contractors and asset owners for meetings and CPD events
- Site visits to ongoing projects to assist with installation and technical support as well as sign off of completed installations
- Preparing sales quotations, technical calculations and written solution proposals to clients
- Reporting of business activities using our CRM system including meetings, project updates and forecasting
- Planning and delivery of marketing activities in your region
- Attending and presenting at UK events and conferences
- Travel for internal training and customer events in the UK & Switzerland
- Full time/permanent position – based remotely
- Geotechnical engineer/geologist/civil engineer or similar with 5+ years of industry experience
- Experience in a construction/contracting business or consultancy or relevant industry experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent people management skills, including problem-solving and critical thinking
- Practical site experience
- Stakeholder management skills are advantageous but not required
- Geohazard (landslide/slope instability/rockfall) experience, while not required, is advantageous
- Willingness to travel across the UK and Switzerland (valid passport)
- Full valid UK driving licence
- Yearly profit sharing model scheme based on contributing factors
