A progressive civil and structural engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support its continued growth. The practice is known for delivering high-quality engineering solutions through collaboration, technical excellence and a detail-focused approach.

This opportunity would suit an individual already operating at senior level who is looking to take on greater responsibility while working on a varied portfolio of infrastructure and development projects. Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of SAB applications and liaison with local authorities through to full approval
• Section 104 and Section 106 drainage design
• Section 38 and Section 278 highways design
• Delivery of concept and detailed designs including technical calculations, tender and construction packages
• Attendance at client design team and site meetings
• Coordination with statutory bodies, architects, M&E consultants and contractors

• A minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering with a BEng or MEng and progress toward Chartered ICE status
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Excellent practical problem-solving ability
• Sound understanding of civil engineering design principles including experience working to CIRIA C753 (SuDS Manual)
• Working knowledge of PDS Causeway Flow / Micro Drainage, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Ability to produce clear, accurate technical reports
• High levels of attention to detail and strong organisational skills
