Li-FT is a mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of lithium pegmatite projects located in Canada. The Company’s flagship project is the Yellowknife Lithium Project located in Northwest Territories, Canada which has an initial inferred resource of 50.4
Mt @ 1.0% Li 2 O. Li-FT also holds three early-stage exploration properties in Quebec, Canada with excellent potential for the discovery of buried lithium pegmatites, as well as the Cali Project in Northwest Territories within the Little Nahanni Pegmatite Field.

Li-FT Power is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter who enjoys working in a dynamic environment to join our small and dedicated team as our Senior Exploration Geologist on a full-time basis reporting to Li-FT’s Exploration Manager and Senior Vice President of Geology.
Professional Experience & QualificationsCandidates considering this role should have the following experience and qualifications:
- Exploration Geologist with at least 7-10 years’ experience including experience in Leapfrog geological modelling in an active drilling environment.
- A good working knowledge of spatial software including ArcGIS and Leapfrog is essential.
- Working knowledge of cloud-based database management and internal-external data sharing and tracking using MX Deposit and Dropbox platforms.
- Strong verbal and written reporting skills
- British Columbia, or Quebec-based is desirable.
- In addition to English, French fluency and Spanish is desirable.
- OGQ, GiT or P.Geo status with pathway to OGQ (Ordre des geologues du Quebec).
- Responsible for office-based daily integration of field drilling data, to create, maintain and update multiple geological models in NWT and Quebec, within a centralized, cloud-based project environment (Leap Frog, MxDeposit, Central).
- Assisting drill and field exploration planning and survey design, and research and development projects.
- Monitor field-based project operations and set field survey protocol training with contractors.
- Aid in Exploration Targeting and Resource drilling programs.
The role will be primarily home-based with occasional office time in Li-FT’s Vancouver and/or Montreal office, however travel will be required from time-to-time. Travel will include attending industry conferences, and visits to Northwest Territories and Quebec Projects. Travel time is anticipated to be roughly 20% but this may increase as needed during intensive drilling campaigns.
