Brief DescriptionWe are seeking a Project Engineer to manage engineering development and delivery on both trackside and onboard projects, ensuring compliance with Network Rail and GB industry standards and relevant legislation.
AboutThe Role (External)
This is an exciting opportunity to manage complex engineering activities in GBRX. We need someone who can effectively implement systems and procedures to maintain a safe, cost‑effective, high‑quality, and environmentally responsible approach to relevant GBRX ETCS (European Train Control System) engineering projects.
What we need from you- Relevant experience of working with modern signalling systems
- Technical qualifications to HNC/HND or equivalent GNVQ level.
- Knowledge of quality assurance.
- An understanding of the arrangements required for the independent assessment of work.
- CDM, risk assessment, engineering management competency.
- A demonstrable understanding of ETCS and the wider Railway System

Salary: £43,588 – £51,719

This role is based in London Kings Cross and will require working from our office at least 3 days per week. The role will also require occasional travel to York.
