Service Engineer

Are you an experienced Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer with a solid 3 phase Electrical background? Are you looking for a home based Service Engineer role with regular travel to customer sites? As our new Service Engineer, youll be servicing and attending breakdowns on hoists, indoor cranes and other lifting equipment on various customer sites in Hampshire and the surrounding areas.

BASIC SALARY:
Up to A GBP 50,000 depending on your relevant experience and qualifications

Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer : cranes, hoists, lifting equipment

You will be home based (living around the Yateley area) and reporting into our Service Manager who used to be an Engineer with us, so knows the role well. Youll visit sites to service, repair and maintain a variety of our machinery and equipment : ranging from gantry cranes to hoists and other associated lifting equipment. That will cover about 60 of your week, as youll also support our installation team commissioning.

We have a loyal customer base spread over manufacturing / industrial environments and a solid product range where we are regularly introducing new products and re:engineering our existing ones.

Youll be a qualified Electrical Engineer (either apprentice trained or through education ONC/HNC/HND etc) with a background in static maintenance or field service for 3 phase : ideally you will hold your C and G 2365 in Electrical Installation too. You will be happy working at height, comfortable with 3 phase electrics and have a background of relevant transferable machinery such as hydraulics, motors, gearboxes, inverter-controlled machinery, industrial machinery, pneumatics etc.

If you answered YES to the above and you have any experience of working on cranes, traction lifts or similar things like material handling equipment or access plant lifting equipment such as: alloy gantries, forklifts, hiabs or versa lifts, skates, air skates, cranes, toe jacks, roller bars, ultralift, telehandlers then you should definitely apply.
