Project Delivery Professional- Submarines

We are looking for a Project Delivery Professional focusing on transformation delivery within the Nuclear (Submarines) team at our Barrow site. This role supports the SSNA Programme, a long‑term, multi‑billion‑pound programme that designs and delivers world‑class propulsion system solutions for the Royal Navy’s nuclear submarine fleet.

• Produce and deliver the managed transformation/change programme to ensure that the SSNA programme team maintains the right capabilities and infrastructure through the project lifecycle.
• Ensure that change is outcome‑focused and the impact of transformation/change (both internal and external) is identified, assessed, and reflected in project outcomes.
• Develop relationships across multiple organisations to drive joint understanding and clear communications regarding transformation, change and capability.
• Integrate change interventions with the ongoing delivery phase, future phases, and product/support solution maturity.
• Develop coherent transformation/change interventions across parties to the programme and within the broader submarine delivery enterprise.

• Understanding of, and success in, managing, measuring and implementing change to business / programme operations.
• Experience working in complex, highly regulated programmes or projects.
• Experience engaging stakeholders across multiple functions, companies and grade structures, and facilitating / influencing decision‑making at these levels.
• Ability to present complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of the UK Defence sector and submarines is advantageous.

For more than 60 years, Rolls‑Royce Submarines has designed, supplied and supported the nuclear propulsion plant for all UK Royal Navy nuclear submarines. Successful applicants must hold a Security Check clearance. We will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not already have it. Due to the nature of the work, we can only progress applications from UK nationals or, in MoD‑approved cases, dual nationals.
