Based out of our Warrington office, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting a diverse portfolio of projects across the region within our Regional Civils division. This is an opportunity to influence major schemes from the earliest stages, collaborate with expert teams, and ensure our programmes are delivered with precision, clarity, and ambition.

If you’re ready to bring your planning expertise to projects that make a real impact in local communities, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing
  • Working independently or as part of the planning team: ensuring that the programme content is functionally compliant with the planning procedures and guidance.
  • Tender: develop and agree, by collaboration, a logical sequence and methodology ensuring that the most efficient design, procurement & construction strategy is adopted for the delivery of the works.
  • Produce and document planning deliverables, including programmes, planning philosophy, presentations, and reports. Also, generate the Tender Programme and supporting information in accordance with tender requirements.
  • Contract:

at the contract stage, the Planner is responsible for producing, managing, and maintaining the Contract Programme in accordance with planning procedures under the guidance of the Planning/Project Lead.
  • Display and evaluate the project critical path and advise the project team of the results and any appropriate corrective action.
  • Produce and maintain project baselines and execute the change control process as appropriate.
  • Resource Management: skilled in managing labour, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project objectives while minimizing costs and delays.
  • Contract Management: manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring performance, and resolving contract‑related issues.
  • Data Analysis: aid the planning team to produce project data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify deviations, and make data‑driven decisions for project improvement.
