WSP is seeking a Demolition and Decommissioning Consultant for roles in the UK & Ireland. Join us to work on high hazard sites and contribute to landmark projects.

A Little More About Your Role… This role is specifically to support decommissioning, demolition and remediation projects requiring significant periods of sitework/working away. The successful candidate will play a key role in the setup and day‑to‑day delivery of projects, working closely with project managers and directors. Activities include monitoring operations, gaining experience, and eventually supervising and managing works.

• Attendance of works/site briefings, meetings and workshops.
• Observation and reporting of contractors’ works.
• Assist in the data gathering and surveying of new projects.
• Provision of adherence to best practice including health and safety.
• Communicating and liaising effectively with clients, contractors and the project team.
• Operational assistance towards the delivery of projects.
• Delivery of tasks in a cost‑effective and timely manner.

• Experience in an engineering consultancy or industrial engineering site‑based role.
• A degree associated with Engineering, Construction/Demolition Management or Health, Safety & Environment.

• Has a full UK driving licence.
• Is comfortable working on‑site and in an office environment.
• Uses initiative and is self‑motivated.
• Asks questions to understand objectives and learns for themselves.

• Has excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Stays calm and focused under pressure.
