We are looking to recruit a Renewables Energy Operation/Site Manager in the North Scotland
, ideally based in the Inverness Area
. This is due to the expansion of our site management and HV services in this location.

You’ll join our Site Management Team within the wider Operations & Asset Management department
-a multi-disciplinary group dedicated to getting the most from our clients’ assets. You’ll be home-based but hands‑on in the field, collaborating with asset managers, clients, service providers, and contractors to deliver operational safety, inspections, maintenance, and emergency response.

• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of renewable energy sites
• Reviewing and approving contractor Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and ensuring compliance with safety requirements
• Inducting and verifying competency of all site personnel
• Developing risk assessments and SSOW for site activities
• Recording, reporting, and following up on incidents and near misses
• Planning and managing preventative maintenance schedules
• Conducting routine site inspections and producing reports
• Operating and maintaining HV and LV electrical systems, managing permits, and liaising with network operators
• Supporting integration of new assets into operations
• Participating in the on‑call rota for 24/7 operational support

• HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering/technical discipline
• Hands‑on experience in maintenance, fault finding, or repair of electro‑mechanical systems
• Knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems and Health & Safety legislation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Full UK driving licence
• HV SAP experience on single or multi‑feed 33kV

• Familiarity with Renewables Technology and Operations
• HV Switching Experience Required
• Desirable - additional SAP authorisation or experience 132kV,275kV,400kV
