Job Description
🚀 The Job Mission
This hybrid role is suited to professionals able to commute to Bridgwater or relocate nearby, with relocation support available.
You support the delivery of major nuclear contracts throughout the full project lifecycle.
Working closely with your future team, you help coordinate project activities across engineering, procurement and construction.
• Support the Project Manager in delivering project scope across complex nuclear infrastructure contracts.
• Coordinate with engineering, commercial, procurement and construction teams to support project delivery objectives.
• Assist in monitoring project progress against safety, quality, schedule and cost parameters.
• Maintain auditable records of project decisions, documentation and programme evolution.
• Support planning activities including development of schedules and tracking key technical work streams.
• Coordinate meetings with internal teams, suppliers and key project stakeholders.
• Assist with preparation of business cases, internal approvals and project board documentation.
• Support delivery of project management processes including Earned Value Management and reporting.
• Contribute to collaborative working across programme teams and external delivery partners.
Qualifications
🛠 Essential Skills
• Experience supporting project management activities within engineering, infrastructure or construction environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to analyse project data including budgets, forecasts and performance metrics.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively within complex project environments and delivery teams.
• Capability to manage tasks effectively under pressure and tight delivery schedules.
• Proficiency in coordinating project meetings, documentation and stakeholder communications.
• Fluent English communication skills for professional and technical project environments.
✔️ Desired Skills
• Degree in engineering, construction management or related technical discipline.
• Experience working on large infrastructure or nuclear sector projects.
• Familiarity with project controls processes including planning and document control systems.
• Awareness of regulatory and stakeholder engagement within highly regulated environments.
• Additional language skills such as French would be advantageous.
