Lead Major BMS Projects with a Global Industry LeaderWith over 100 years of innovation behind the business, our client is a market-leading specialist in Building Management Solutions (BMS), delivering intelligent building technology across large commercial and residential developments.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of key BMS projects, beginning with a flagship project in the South West (Dorset region).
This role offers hybrid working, combining site visits, office collaboration, and home-based working where project requirements allow.
The RoleAs Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for delivering BMS work packages safely, on time, within budget, and in line with client specifications. You will lead a dedicated project delivery team and manage both commercial and operational performance throughout the project lifecycle.
You will work closely with M&E and Principal Contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and manage BMS projects in line with scope, company procedures, and H&S standards
- Manage contractual elements including payments, variations, extensions of time, and loss & expense claims
- Oversee project financial performance, reporting on progress, risks, and forecasts
- Provide technical support to customers and engineering teams
- Prepare payment applications, manage variations, and negotiate final accounts
- Produce procurement schedules, equipment schedules, and project documentation
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Proven experience in a Project or Contracts Management role
- Strong technical knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Commercially aware with experience managing multi-disciplinary contracts
- Strong financial, contractual, and risk management capabilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and deadline-driven
- £60,000 – £70,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
