This is a full-time hybrid role for an Entry Level Electrical Engineer, located in Calgary, AB with some work-from-home flexibility. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for assisting in performing the design and analysis of electrical power systems, conducting power transmission studies, and supporting various engineering projects. Daily tasks include performing system simulations, creating cost-effective engineering solutions, and collaborating with the team to ensure project success.

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Knowledge in electric power system, synchronous generator, motor, power electronic inverters, wind turbines and solar will be plus.
• Experience with in Python or other language
• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
• Experience with power system analysis software is a plus
• Previous internship or co-op experience in the power industry is beneficial

Half year full-time contract with opportunity to convert to permanent position
