Project Manager - Renewable Energy

Overview

An opportunity for an engineering project manager to grow into a leadership role within a technically strong renewable energy business.

Myriad Products is a well-established renewable energy engineering company with over 20 years’ experience delivering low-carbon energy systems. As our renewable portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for a Project Manager with a strong engineering background to join our delivery team.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of renewable energy projects while developing into a future leadership role within the business.

You will be responsible for delivering renewable energy projects from contract award through to completion and client handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly and on programme.

Working closely with the Operations Director, you will manage subcontractors, coordinate site activity and ensure projects are delivered to the technical and commercial standards expected of a professional engineering business.

Projects typically include:

• Commercial and industrial solar PV installations
• Other renewable technologies including biomass and heat pumps

This is a practical delivery role, combining site coordination with project management responsibilities.

The role is primarily home-based, with regular site visits across the UK and periodic visits to the Myriad office in Leicestershire to work with the wider team.

You are an engineering-led project manager who enjoys delivering projects and working closely with site teams.

You may currently be working as a Project Manager, or as a Senior Project Engineer ready to step up into a full project leadership role, within construction, infrastructure, energy or engineering environments.

You will bring:

• Experience delivering engineering or construction projects
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and site activity
• Strong documentation, safety and compliance discipline
• Confidence managing clients, contractors and project stakeholders

Experience in renewable energy or solar is helpful but not essential.

You must also:

• Already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
• Be willing to travel to project sites across the UK as required

• 20+ years’ experience in renewable energy engineering
• Technically strong and commercially secure business
• Growing portfolio across solar and other renewable technologies
• Opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the project team expands
• Direct exposure to senior leadership
