** We are looking for a
** Senior Import Specialist
** to join our growing organization.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Ensuring the continuity of international supplier research, selection, and evaluation processes.
* Organizing and closely monitoring customs, logistics, and product safety procedures from the initial overseas order until the goods enter the warehouse.
* Staying up-to-date with current legislation regarding international procurement.
* Contacting suppliers for required purchases, collecting quotations, and conducting evaluations.
* Preparing contracts for materials, equipment, and services to be purchased.
* Conducting research for alternative suppliers and sub-industry partners.
* Planning and performing supplier/sub-industry audits and inspections when necessary; reporting audit results and initiating corrective actions.
** Qualifications
* ** Bachelor’s degree in related fields,
* Solid knowledge of import legislation and Incoterms,
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive, HVAC, or white goods industries.
* Experience in customs and logistics operations is a plus,
* Proficiency in MS Office and SAP,
* Advanced level of written and verbal communication in English.
* Advanced negotiation and bargaining skills.
