Senior Drainage Engineer – WSP Shropshire Alliance

As a Senior Drainage Engineer you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver complex drainage schemes from conception through to delivery. You will take a lead on feasibility studies, detailed design and investigations.

Location:

WSP Shrewsbury office. Role offers flexible working with a mix of in‑office and home work; potential to be based in Birmingham with regular travel to Shropshire.

• Independently deliver complex drainage schemes from conception through to delivery.
• Investigation, data collection and analysis.
• Feasibility studies, designs and reports.
• Development of funding applications on behalf of the client.
• Preliminary and detailed drainage design, compliant with DMRB, Local Design Specifications, Sewage Sector Guidance, CDM
  2015 and BIM.
• Contract administration.
• Construction supervision.
• Responsible for the health, safety and welfare of yourself and team members.

• Experience leading drainage design projects within the highways or related sectors.
• Familiarity with DMRB, Local Design Specifications, Sewage Sector Guidance and CDM
  2015.
• Commitment to health, safety and welfare of yourself and team members.
• Competence using Civil 3D/AutoCAD, Causeway Flow and Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to working collaboratively and with a client focus.
