Position: Sales Manager (South East Area)

Power Transmission Solutions Mechanical Engineering Background Required

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Area Sales Manager to join our growing team, covering the South East of England. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded sales professional with experience in power transmissions and a strong mechanical engineering background to develop new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer accounts.

The Role

As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building long-term relationships with customers across a variety of industrial sectors, providing technical sales support and delivering tailored power transmission solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new business opportunities across the South East region
  • Managing and growing existing customer accounts
  • Promoting a range of power transmission products and solutions
  • Providing technical support and application advice to customers
  • Conducting regular customer visits and presentations
  • Preparing quotations and negotiating contracts
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience within power transmissions, mechanical components, or industrial engineering sales
  • A mechanical engineering qualification or strong mechanical engineering background
  • Proven experience in both business development and account management
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own diary
  • A full UK driving licence

Working Pattern

  • 1 day per week working from home
  • Most of the week spent visiting customers across the South East
