Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the client's team, the company's home engineering offices, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee construction projects at remote site locations. Report to the home office engineering team for any site problems and liaise with the client or contractor to troubleshoot.
- Ensure that the construction works undertaken by contractors are in accordance with the latest design drawings or models and the highest industry practices.
- Ensure the quality of work undertaken by contractors meets project specifications and standards.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Utilize design software (AutoCAD, Micro Station, or other software) to create and review project/work plans.
- Conduct site inspections and sign off on behalf of the company.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and required documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry. Preferably 3-7 years since graduation from university.
- Experience in major pumping systems (e.g., pump stations, high‑capacity industrial pumps, pumping pipelines, dewatering or process pumping systems) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Micro Station, and other design software.
- Fluent in writing and speaking English.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work in remote locations on a 6/2 week roster basis.
- Certified inspectors are not a must but preferable.
- Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions
