Cable Installation Engineer

Position: CABLE INSTALLATION ENGINEER
Stephenson Operations is currently recruiting a  CABLE INSTALLATION ENGINEER  to join our client’s team.

What will you do in this position?  In the role of Cable Installation Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the technical side of the project execution proceeds smoothly in line with the requirements and conditions of our client and the customer, the aim is to achieve the best possible project result. you will work alternately from our office in Gorinchem during the preparation phase and the project locations during the execution phase.
What are your key responsibilities?
Contact person for the Project Manager, the project team, and other stakeholders;
Preparing and implementing specific (working) methods with risk analysis;
Providing coordination and advice in the event of technical problems;
Supervising subcontractors
Reviewing and following up on the documentation for subcontractors and others;
Checking document control registers to be sure that work instructions, working methods, and drawings have been issued.
Who are you?
A Bachelor or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering, preferably in Offshore Engineering or Maritime Infrastructure;
At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the offshore (wind) industry;
Experience in supporting projects and managing external engineering and suppliers;
Good command of English, spoken and written;
Strong communication and social skills;
An independent, practical, and creative person who can solve problems, dares to make decisions, and is able to work in project teams;
Willing to spend shorter or longer periods abroad on a regular basis.
