Your role as an (Embedded) Software Lead Engineer  As an (Embedded) Software Lead Engineer at Sintecs, you will leverage your expertise to execute complex engineering projects by having the important role of the ‘Lead Engineer’. This role requires proficiency in structured software development and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Clear communication about project progress and potential obstacles is crucial.

Next to that, you should be able to work independently and approach problems from multiple perspectives to find optimal solutions.
Your tasks and key responsibilities   Design software for embedded systems
Guide the embedded software development process to ensure reliability and efficiency
Assist in the implementation of software for embedded systems when necessary
Create estimates and work breakdowns for sales support and develop detailed specifications
Discuss the project progress with clients and Project Managers
Consult with clients on new features
Manage CI/CD developments to support the development processes
Transform a group of developers into a cohesive development project team
Technological Highlights of Our Projects   Secure Enclaves, RTOS, Zephyr, Bare metal microcontroller software (Atmel AVR and ARM Cortex M)
Embedded Linux system development (Boot loader/BSP/deployment)
ARM Trusted Firmware, U-Boot, Linux kernel, Yocto
Secure device provisioning and deployment
Battery management systems, industrial edge systems, Multi Gig capable networking devices and security from both hardware and software perspectives
What do you bring   Completed Higher Vocational or University education in (Technical) Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred
Excellent skills in C/C++ and Python
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Practical and customer-oriented mindset

Experience with digital electronics

Experience with BDD and testing using Behave is an advantage
