This is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Engineer based in Singapore, with flexibility for some work from home. The Project Engineer will oversee and manage engineering projects, including planning, coordination, and implementation. The role involves ensuring project execution aligns with company standards, troubleshooting technical issues, liaising with clients and vendors, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet deadlines and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning & Scheduling:
Develop and maintain detailed project master schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring all milestones and critical paths are monitored. - Documentation Management:
Prepare, review, and submit technical project documentation, specifically Method Statements and Risk Assessments (MSRA), Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, and progress reports. - Site Coordination:
Supervise on‑site installation, testing, and commissioning (T&C) activities. Ensure work complies with safety regulations and approved drawings. - Stakeholder Management:
Lead regular project meetings with clients to update progress and manage expectations. Coordinate with the internal engineering team to resolve technical issues and ensure resource availability. - Contract & Compliance:
Ensure all site activities adhere to the project scope and safety standards (WSH/EHS).
- Education:
Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Marine, or Mechatronics Engineering (preferred due to Tridentec's focus on automation/marine). - Experience:
2–5 years of relevant experience in project engineering, specifically in industrial automation, marine, or construction sectors. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Project is mandatory. Strong knowledge of MSRA (Method Statement Risk Assessment) drafting and submission. Familiarity with site installation processes (cabling, panel installation, etc.). - Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills for client‑facing meetings and internal team coordination.
