Your role
* Reporting to the Infrastructure Solutions manager this position provides the opportunity to join a highly skilled and motivated IT team responsible for design and delivery solutions.
* The Infrastructure Solutions team is located within the IT Services sector within Atkins

Réalis.
* The team consists of technical subject matter experts who focus on IT Design and L3 support for projects across the organisation.
* Embracing and developing the latest technologies the team provides technical solutions which drive business success.
* The role requires an in depth understanding of Nutanix hyperconverged Infrastructure, HPE storage technologies, Microsoft Server operating systems, including Domain services, and Windows security technologies.
* Proven experience of delivering technical projects is essential, along with the following:  + Technical Leadership.  + Design (HLD/LLD), implementation and documentation.  + Excellent communication and teamwork skills.  + Requirements gathering and documentation.  + Identifying suitable solutions to meet the present and future requirements (both functional and non-functional).  + Implementation and testing.  + Work to deadlines with confidence and professionalism.## About you
* Successful candidates will be experienced in the delivery of IT services in large enterprises and be able to demonstrate thorough technical knowledge and understanding in the following areas.
* ** Essential**  + L2/L3 level of experience of Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure.  + Design and implementation Nutanix HCI.  + Excellent understanding of HPE Enterprise server & storage experience platforms  + Excellent understanding of Veeam Backup and Replication  + Excellent understanding of Microsoft Server technologies including domain services.  + Solid understanding of Fibre Channel, iSCSI and core networking fundamentals.
* ** Desirable**  + Knowledge of Linux operating systems.  + Knowledge of Microsoft SCOM.  + Knowledge of configuring and hardening of server management tooling (iDRAC, iLO, One View).  + Nutanix/Microsoft certification or equivalent experience.
* ** Behavioural**  + Understanding the business needs of customers and designing solutions which meet those requirements.  + Ability to take on complex challenges and utilise technical knowledge and experience to…
