Certification & Verification Engineer  Join Fokker Services Group’s Capability Development team at Schiphol (Oude Meer) as a Certification & Verification Engineer.
Responsibilities  As our Certification & Verification Engineer, you are responsible for developing EASA/FAA approved repair procedures in order to generate cost‑saving solutions and avoid obsolescence on legacy aircraft platforms.
Development and creation of cost‑saving engineering initiatives.
Justification and verification of failure classifications in accordance with EASA/FAA regulations.
Development of engineering solutions to avoid obsolescence on legacy aircraft platforms.
Monitoring of new technologies, selection of potential applications and translation into repair development.
Preparing, checking and approving certification reports.
Qualifications   A completed HBO education in Engineering.
Knowledge of system design and safety assessments related to Aerospace Engineering.
At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
At least 3 years of experience with aviation regulations, preferably EASA Part 145, Part 21 and FAA.
A strong affinity with aircraft (component) design and operations.
